Description
Performance & Compatibility The Plugable UD-6950H DisplayLink docking station, equipped with the latest DisplayLink DL-6950 chipset, enables connection of two external monitors up to 4K@60Hz resolution using DisplayPort or HDMI. This docking station acts as an HDMI splitter for dual monitors, making it ideal for multiple monitor setups. It features six USB 3.0 ports, a Gigabit Ethernet connection, and audio input/output ports, all accessible via a single USB cable. Note: For 4K@60Hz resolution, each monitor must support 4K@60Hz on DisplayPort 1.2 or HDMI 2.0. This docking station does not support host charging; use the system's separate power supply for optimal performance. USB-C to USB-A 6ft Cable The USB-C to USB-A 6ft (2M) Cable (USBC-A2M) provides professional-grade connectivity, ensuring compatibility, data flow, and power between devices. This cable, with transfer speeds up to 5Gbps (USB 3.2 Gen 1), is perfect for flexible setups, ensuring reliable data transfer and charging for HP, ThinkPad, MacBook Pro, or Surface devices. Universal Connectivity The Plugable UD-6950H docking station is compatible with most modern laptops and desktops running Windows 11, 10, 8.1, and 7, or macOS 10.14+. It requires the DisplayLink graphics software. It is not compatible with Linux/Unix, ARM-based Windows operating systems, or HDCP copy-protected content (Blu-Ray, Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, etc.). DisplayPort MST daisy-chain connections or Dual-Link DVI conversions are not supported from the DisplayPort outputs. The Gigabit Ethernet port requires a Full-Duplex network connection. The USBC-A2M cable connects Thunderbolt, USB4, and USB-C-equipped smartphones, tablets, and laptops to older USB-A ports, offering a durable design and integrated cable management. This cable, along with the docking station, provides a universal solution for multiple monitor setups, compatible with MacBook Pro, ThinkPad, or Surface devices.
